"Holcim" increased its ownership share in cement factory in Novi Popovac

German branch office of company "Holcim" has announced today (August 27, 2008), that it took over additional 7.08% of stocks of cement factory "Holcim" in Novi Popovac for total of 749m RSD, that is, about 9.7m EUR.

According to the web site of the Central Securities Registry www.crhov.co.yu, German branch office of "Holcim" took over additional 162,815 stocks of the cement factory in Novi Popovac at the price of 4,600 RSD and it now owns total of 2,286,277 stocks, that is, 99.4% of capital.

According to the Registry, remaining 0.65% of stocks are owned by minor stockholders.

Swiss "Holcim" bought 70% of stocks of cement factory Novi Popovac at the end of year 2001 for 52.5m USD.
