"Philip Morris" as only bidder on tender for purchase of Tobacco Industry Bujanovac

Dutch branch office of company "Philip Morris" is the only bidder on the tender for sale of 57.74% of capital of DIB in Bujanovac.

Privatization Agency did not mention the price that the company offered for purchase of Bujanovac-based DIB, the company for tobacco production and refining, because the tender commission did not open the financial part of the bid, but only the qualification documentation.

The first meeting of the tender commission will be resumed when the advisor estimates if the bidder meets the tender terms.

DIB has 53 workers, its annual capacity is 2,000 tons of tobacco foil and it produced about 685,605 tons in 2006.

The incomes of the company in 2006 amounted to 1.3m EUR, 96.67% of which was realized on local market and 3.33% in the countries of former Yugoslavia.

Total expenses of the Bujanovac tobacco industry in 2006 amounted to 1.8m EUR, while its capital amounted to 3.6m EUR.

The factory owns 50,072 square meters of land, while the total surface of building facilities in its possession is 20,537 square meters.
