RTB "Bor" to buy another 2 big trucks - open competition for dump trucks

The Management of Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor" announced yesterday (August 24, 2008) the public invitation for procurement of another 2 heavy dump trucks for ore transportation. The capacity of the vehicles must be 160 tons.

By the way, RTB "Bor" has already signed contract on procurement of 4 new dump trucks for 5.3m EUR, as well as two graders and two bulldozers.

According to the expectations, these machines should arrive in Bor by the end of September.

With the new equipment, the management of RTB "Bor" plans to invest about 15m USD in opening of new copper mines "Cerovo 1" and "Cerovo 2", as well as additional 5m EUR in commencement of exploitation of underground red metal deposit Borska reka.

It is expected that these investment will lead to growth of production, which should amount to about 2,500 tons on monthly basis in 2009.
