Niš-based "Koža-plastika" received order from court to empty premises and allot them to Slovenian company "Usnje plast"

The Administration and the workers of Niš-based company "Koža-plastika" are against the decision of the Regional Court in Niš, according to which they are to leave the premises and allot them to Slovenian company "Usnje plast" from Ljubljana.

Jovica Stanojević, a representative of the administration, said that the Niš-based company had received the order from the court to empty the premises and hand them over to Slovenian company.

- "Koža-plastika" was founded in 1991, following the secession of Slovenia, and "Usnje-plast" participated in founding of joint venture "Koža-plastika" by providing a warehouse building - said Stanojević.

He said that "Koža-plastika" had repaid the loan of Slovenian company to Invest banka already in 1992 and he added that the amount of the loan covered the value of the building and goods on stock at the time of secession of Slovenia.

Disputable subject is currently in the auditing procedure at the Supreme Court of Serbia, and Stanojević is of the opinion that the decision should be made by the Court of Commerce.

Slovenian and Niš-based company are in dispute over the warehouse building at 500 square meters and the store at about 180 square meters, which are both situated in Niš's city core.

Stanojević points to very confusable fact that the Regional Court already allotted premises of the warehouse to the Niš-based company and then changed the decision.

"Koža-plastika" is currently in the privatization process.
