Of 12 public companies that were offered for sale on today's auction in Novi Sad, only one company got the new owner.

- Trade company "Vojvodina tehnopromet" from Sremska Mitrovica was sold for 163m RSD to Đorđe Jovićević from Belgrade, while the sale of other companies was either postponed or unsuccessful because there were no interested buyers - Privatization Agency announced.

There were no potential buyers for Agricultural combine Sombor holding, wholesale and retail trade company "Izbor" from Bačka Palanka, Socks factory "Udarnik" from Zrenjanin, Footwear factory "Moda" from Debeljača and company "Petrolunion" from Novi Sad.


Agent of the new owner of "Vojvodina tehnopromet" did not want to give any statement for media because, as he explained, he was not authorized to do such thing. There was one more participant in the auction and the starting price of public company "Vojvodina tehnopromet" was 84.36m RSD.

The primary field of work of the company is retail trade in metal goods, paints, technical goods and heating material, and this company has 50 employees.

The most important property of "Vojvodina tehnopromet" are stores "Novi dom", warehouse and brickkilns on Kvantaš market, store "Tehnika" and two stores "Čelik".
