Russian Railways not buying Gosa

The Russian company RZD International will not buy the Smederevska Palanka-based rail vehicle plant Gosa, says the first deputy manager of the company in Serbia, Mansurbek Sultanov, following the media allegations that the Russian company has prepared a plan and an offer for the purchase of Gosa along with a Slovakian company.

According to the media writings, representatives of the Russian Railways should allegedly have talks with the authorities at the municipality of Smederevska Palanka on Tuesday, September 12.

– We are the only representatives of the Russian Railways here, not just in Serbia, but in the region as well, and I responsibly claim that neither myself nor any of my employees have ever in our lives mentioned anything of the sort and I'm not sure where these allegations originate. I am not part of that delegation and I do not know that any one of our company's representatives is supposed to visit Serbia – Sultanov says.
