The obligatory bids of the participants in the tender for sale of Bujanovac-based factory of water and juices "Heba" have been opened, but there is still no official information on who could become the new owner of that factory.

The Executive Manager of "Heba", Miodrag Manasijević, confirmed today (August 18, 2008) that the bids were opened and that tender commission was not allowed to give any information on the bids before the Privatization Agency.

- In this phase, the Privatization Agency is the only one that can give information on the bidders and potential buyers of "Heba", but they haven't done that yet - Manasijević added.

According to the tender terms, the companies that dealt with water production in the last three years and registered incomes worth 20m EUR in 2007 can participate in the privatization of "Heba".

The bids for that factory could have been submitted by the companies whose assets are not smaller than 50m EUR and whose incomes in 2007 amounted to more than 30m EUR.

Total of 70% of capital of "Heba" will be privatized, while 15% will be distributed among the workers in the factory in the form of free stocks. Remaining 15% will enter the Privatization Registry.
