"Vip" invested 160m EUR in mobile telephony network in Serbia

Company "Vip Mobile" has announced that 50% of Serbia and all main roads will be covered by the network of base stations in September, three months before the deadline.

- Vip Mobile has, so far, invested about 160m EUR in development of mobile telephony network in Serbia - said Darko Perun, a member of the Administrative Board of that mobile operator.

According to the terms from the mobile telephony license, this operator needs to cover 80% of Serbia with its network prior to December 1st, 2010.
