Arena still without main sponsor – Application deadline extended, minimum price at EUR 1.25 million

The Belgrade Arena has problems finding a main sponsor, whose name it should carry in the upcoming years. Following the initial, unsuccessful tender, which no interested company responded to, to everybody's surprise, another tender opened, and the opening of the bids was scheduled for today.

However, Kombank Arena, as it is still officially called, reveals that the application deadline has been extended by a week and that the opening of the bids will take place on September 12, at 1 pm.

Unlike the first tender, this time, offers below EUR 1.25 million will not be taken into consideration (the threshold stood at EUR 1 million the first time around), but the new sponsor will not be obliged to set up two video beams, the value of which has been estimated at EUR 1.3 million.

Let us remind that, following the expiration of the five-year cooperation with Komercijalna Banka, it was announced that the biggest sports hall in the Balkans might be named after one of the big global companies, such as Samsung or Huawei.
