The company Mlinar opened its first franchise bakery in Serbia in the center of Belgrade, at 11 Makedonska Street, on August 31, 2017, says the company’s website.

As they say in Mlinar, this is the first in the range of franchise stores which will open in Serbia in cooperation with the business partner Mlinar Srb d.o.o.

The bakery in the Makedonska Street offers a wide range of products such as pies, pizzas, puff pastry, breads and sandwiches, made using Mlinar’s standards and recipes.

Mlinar was founded in 1903. It currently employs 1,900 people and is present in Croatia (185 bakeries), Slovenia (24), Hungary (7) and Germany (one bakery). In addition to its own retail networks, Mlinar’s brand is present in other markets as well in the form of the franchise business model. Their first franchise model was implemented in Slovakia in 2015, and the Mlinar brand was presented in Australia and Switzerland in 2016. In March 2017, the first Mlinar bakery opened in Sarajevo, B&H, followed by the bakery in Frankfurt.
