Tender for road concession from Hungarian border across Novi Sad and Belgrade to Pozega in spring 2005 - 770 million EUR

Serbian government gave green light for announcing concession for 2 road directions in Republic. Legislative regulations will enable announcement of tenders and finding of concessionaires within 2-3 mounths.

 The thing is about  directions Horgos - South Adriatic and Nis - Dimitrovgrad, more preciselly, building of long road lane from Hungarian border to Novi Sad and full profile from Belgrade to Pozega.

The value of works, with smaller additional investments, is  1 ,3 billion EUR, and by the end of year 2005 holders of concession will be known. Austrian, Turkish, Japanesse and other multinational companies are interested. Our concessions will be different from others in that respect that it will not allow exploitation of full infrastructure, but only of the road.

The building of the other road lane, from Horgos to Novi Sad will cost approximately 140 milllion EUR, and trafic artery from Belgrade to Pozega will cost more than 630 million EUR
