"ABS Minel FEPO" exports transformers to Russia - shipment worth 1.4m USD

Company "ABS Minel FEPO" from Zrenjanin has started to export measuring transformers to Russia. Total value of the shipment is 1.4m USD.

Ljubomir Lukić, Executive Manager of "ABS holdings" Serbia, a part of which is "ABS Minel FEPO", said that the company would deliver the first part of total of 780 measuring transformers intended for reconstruction of railways in Syberia.

- The contract on export of transformers is the beginning of successful cooperation with Russian partners. The Management of "ABS Minel FEPO" already negotiates with several companies interested in representing and selling Zrenjanin's products in Russian market - said Lukić and added that, according to the expectations, the sales in Russian market would be doubled in 2009 and the company would realize about 3m USD worth of incomes from export.
