Elicio assembles the first wind generator in Malibunar project - Construction of bigger wind park in Alibunar underway

Long waiting for the start
of wind park construction project in the
municipality of Alibunar was completed with the adoption of appropriate legal
documents by the assemblies of Serbia and Vojvodina. By
building renewable energy sources
facilities, this undeveloped South Banat municipality expects an increase in
the number of employees.
During the preparatory period, Belgian company Elicio presented the project to local population on several occasions, land purchase, built access roads, etc.
This summer, construction of the first out of two wind parks started - Malibunar – which comprises four wind generator of installed power of eight megawatts. Giant turbines were transferred from the Pancevo port to the filed between Alibunar and Vladimirovac, and recently official carrier of the first wind turbine was officially erected.
To lift the wind turbine, a
crane 120 meters high was used and installation of three elves and other parts
is to be done.
Work on Malibunar wind park should end during next month, followed by wind park Alibunar of 21 wind turbines with a total power of 48 megawatts, which will be done this year and next year.
