New IT re-qualification cycle to start end of 2017

IT re-qualification pilot stage is ending late August and preparations for continuing have been in progress, it was said for 021.rs at the Government of Serbia. In 2017, re-qualification of 1,000 people is planned, or 900 citizens more who did not participate in the pilot project stage which 100 of them is completing.- Preparations for the start of the second training cycle has been ongoing. In September, a survey of employers' needs will be conducted, followed by a selection of those who train trainees and candidate selection. It is planned that the training starts by the end of the year and dynamics will be specified when research and selection of schools is completed. As in the first stage, we will use all communication channels to inform all interested citizens about the start of a new round of training – it was stated in the Prime Minister's Office for 021.rs.Pilot stage is followed by professional practice and the objective is to create junior developers, and to help them connect with companies that need workers. True success of IT retraining depends on private companies because it is not known how many of them will actually offer practice and employment to course participants.The first stage of IT retraining was organized in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Nis, and now it is planned to include some other cities that need staff.The amount of training will, as well as in the pilot stage, be 1,500 EUR per candidate, with attendees taking smaller portion of it obliging them to attend the course to the end. According to data on the training so far completed, 92% of the participants successfully completed the course.
