The arrival of Russian delegation and direct talks about NIS and issues related to Russian-Serbian cooperation have been postponed, says Irina Andrianova, the spokesperson of Russian Ministry for Special Situations.

Andrianova explained that the visit of Russian Minister for Special Situations and co-President of the Intergovernment Committee for Cooperation with Serbia, Sergej Šojgu, would be postponed due to Georgian-Russian conflict.

- The Minister is currently in North Osetia, in Vladikavkaz, where he provides assistance to the refugees from South Osetia – said Andrianova. According to her words, it is not clear when Šojgu could visit Serbia.

The occasion for visit of the Russian Minister who is in charge of economic cooperation with Serbia was, according to the media in Serbia, postponement of ratification of the energy agreement.
