Turkish Guris Holding is building wind parks in Kosovo and Ukraine
Guris Holding in Kosovo is planning to build a wind power plant with installed capacity of 32 megawatts, while the wind park in Ukraine will have the power of 80 megawatts. Turkish media report that works began on both power plants, specifying that only a segment of up to 30 megawatts is currently being built in Ukraine.
General Manager of Guris Holding, Musfik Jamanturk, said the company will install GE's turbines at Odessa's wind park. The second segment of this 50 MW power plant will be launched early next year, according to Balkan Green Energy News.
He said GE's turbines will be installed in the wind park in Kosovo, adding that guaranteed price from this plant is 8.5 cents per kilowatt hour.
Yamanturk said that a segment of 30-megawatt power plant in Ukraine and a 32 MW plant in Kosovo will start operating with full capacity in August or September 2018.
