The first intercity Ikarbus bus at Mercedes-Benz chassis completed

Zemun-based Ikarbus prepared delivery of the first intercity bus built on the Mercedes-Benz chassis, Novosti writes.

The leaders of Ikarbus especially outline that this bus was made for a well-known buyer, Ariva Litas, a transport company from Požarevac, which speaks enough of greater trust that this company acquires in the market.

The bus, with Ikarbus IK-312MB label, is 12 meters long and the first one in Serbia made with a diesel engine of eight liters, which develops around 300 hp and meets Euro 6 environmental standards.

This bus is also in line with all of the latest Mercedes-Benz safety standards, such as autonomous braking in the event of danger, Novosti reports.
