– As I promised, next spring, the construction of gondola from Kalemegdan to Usce Park is starting, and this way we connect different parts of Belgrade and enable citizens and guests of the capital to move more easily and enjoy the history and tradition of our city – Mali added.

He also announced that mid-September will see the opening of the shopping mall in Rajiceva street , near Kalemegdan.

Mali reminded that Kalemegdan is the most famous cultural monument in Belgrade, attracting the largest number of tourists, but also citizens of the Serbian capital.

– - Many things have improved at the Belgrade Fortress. A few months ago, we completed the reconstruction of the plateau at the Victor Monument. We are still working on setting up decorative features , while some parts, such as the Roman Well, are again available for visitors, as well as some parts of the fortress which have not been so far - the mayor said.
