Consulting company "Deloitte&Touche" to get 480,000 EUR for appraisal of NIS

- Consulting company "Deloitte&Touche", which is going to appraise the value of "Petroleum Industry of Serbia" will be paid 480,000 EUR for that job - Privatization Agency of Serbia announced.

According to the words of the Head of Info service of the Agency, Dušan Belanović, "Deloitte&Touche" is obliged to estimate the market value of the entire capital of NIS prior to September 1st. In case it fails to do the appraisal until that day, every day of delay will result in deduction from the original amount.

- I doubt that "Deloitte&Touche" will be late with the appraisal of the value because it is one of the world's four largest audit company - Belanović pointed out.

He added that the Privatization Agency had also sent the invitation for participation in the appraisal of capital of NIS to audit companies KPMG, "PricewaterhouseCoopers" and "Ernest and Young", but those three companies hadn't answered the invitation.

- Since the time for appraisal of capital of NIS is very short, the invitations were sent only to the four largest audit companies in the world - said Belanović and reminded that the same thing had been done in case of company "Jat Airways".

According to his words, Privatization Agency of Serbia did not send the invitation for this job to consortium of "Merrill Lynch" and "Raiffeisen Investment", which was the privatization adviser for NIS, because the appraisal of capital is the only thing that is needed now and, as he explained, that is something that audit companies do the best.
