BRNABIC: I hope for economic growth of 2,5%

- Short-term measures can bring an additional GDP growth of 0.2 to 0.3%. Good thing is that all other economic indicators are good. Exports are growing 10 to 12%, processing industry 6 to 8% - the prime minister said.

She reminded last year’s economic growth was 2.8% and added she hopes this year will it be 2.5%.

According to her, 10-11 projects are already ready to compensate for the GDP loss by the end of the year, which includes cleaning of channels, higher subsidies for purchase of tractors and other equipment, infrastructure projects for which construction permits have been prepared.

Drought during this summer, but also a strong winter at the beginning of the year and problems in thermal sector caused a lower GDP growth than expected.
