"METRO Cash&Carry" obtained international HACCP certificate

The world leader in wholesale trade, company "METRO Cash&Carry", obtained HACCP certificate for operations in Serbia on July 28. This certificate represents one of the most significant international quality certificates. Certifications was done by the authorized international certification company "Quality Austria", a member of the international association of certification bodies "IQNet".

METRO is present in Serbia since 2003 and it currently has five distributive centers in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Niš. METRO cooperates with more than 1,000 suppliers and manufacturers in Serbia and offers over 25,000 different products in its markets. The products of local manufacturers make 80% of total assortment of food products.

Ever since it entered Serbia, company METRO operates according to the highest world standards and it applies the strictest quality control measures. The procedures it practices is the same in METRO stores all around the world.
