German "Reum GmbH" signed contract on construction of factory of car parts in Svilajnac

Representatives of Municipality of Svilajnac and German company "Reum GmbH" have signed the contract today on construction of factory of car parts.

The contract was signed by the Mayor of Svilajnac, Gorica Dimčić - Tasić, and the CEO of company from German province of Baden Vitenberg, Rolf Riter.

The factory should be put into operation on March 1st, 2009, and it should have 325 workers, 25 of whom will be hired during construction.

Company "Reum GmbH" will invest 10m EUR in construction of the factory, while Municipality of Svilajnac provided 5 ha of land with complete infrastructure in Veliko Polje, on the road towards village of Kušiljevo.

Rolf Riter said that "Reum GmbH" would not stop investing in Svilajnac on March 1st, 2009, when the production should start, and that the capacities would be increased prior to year 2012.

Factory "Reum GmbH" in Svilajnac will be producing plastic parts for air conditioning systems in automobiles that will be exported to Germany and EU countries. German partner also intends to establish cooperation with company "Fiat".
