First premium debit card in Serbia and in region - Komercijalna Banka promoted "Visa Platinum"

- Komercijalna Banka is the first bank in southeast Europe that started to issue platinum visa cards (Visa Platinum) - said the representatives of international company for "Visa" debit cards and that bank.
Manager of "Visa's" business development sector for southeast Europe, Jean Mark Tonti, said that the introduction of the exclusive platinum visa card was the result of maturity of Serbian market. Of all exclusive visa cards, golden visa card is also in use in Serbia.
- The card is intended for users with exceptionally large incomes and those who travel a lot and shop in exclusive stores where they can get special discounts. The card also offers large overdraft and possibility of use at 29m places and in 1m ATMs all around the world - said he.
Although it is explained on the web site of "Visa" for southeast Europe and the Near East that the minimum overdraft for platinum card amounts to 10,000 USD, Tonti said that the overdraft was not mandatory, that it was different in every country and that the bank was to determine it, as well as the criteria for issuing of the card.
Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Komercijalna banka, Predrag Mihajlović, estimated that Komercijalna banka would have few hundreds of users of that exclusive card in the first phase.
According to the words of Ljubica Banović from Komercijalna banka, high incomes are not the only criterion for issuing of the card.
There is only one card that is even more exclusive and that is Visa Infinite. The user of this card, as she explained, can buy a plane with it.
Potential users of the platinum card are those who used Visa Gold card of Komercijalna banka a lot, which does not mean that the clients of other banks can not apply for the platinum card.
