Indian companies interested in investing in tractor production in Serbia

Minister of agriculture, forestry and water engineering at the Government of Serbia, Branislav Nedimovic, discussed on Thursday, August 17, 2017, with the ambassador of India in Belgrade, Narinder Chauhan, the options of presentation of Serbian agricultural products at the upcoming Worldfood India fair which will be held in November.

It was agreed at the meeting that in the upcoming period, fields of agricultural production will be precisely defined, which can enable placement of Serbian goods to Indian market, it was reported at the website of the Government of Serbia.

Nedimovic outlined that Serbia is interested in taking part at the fair and in line with it he communicated that he accepted a call to visit the event.

Let us remind, Indian group Tafe, previously announced that it is interested in strategic partnership or purchase of IMT in bankruptcy so that they would produce tractors mainly for European market but also for African and Asian markets.
