"FIMA SEE Activist" - first registered closed investment fund in Serbia

"FIMA SouthEastern Europe Activist" is the first closed investment fund in Serbia included in the Investment Funds Registry. It is also the fist stockholding company founded through public offer of stocks. Total collected capital amounts to 100,200,000 RSD, while current ownership structure includes 30 stockholders.
"FIMA SEE Activist" will be investing in the stocks of the companies of small and mid-sized market capitalization worth between 10 and 50m EUR. This segment encompasses the companies that, according to their business results, have great potentials for growth in the following period and they are expected to bring good profit to investors.
- During registration and payment of stocks from the founding issue, which went well, 10,020 stocks were registered. The stocks of "FIMA SEE Activist" will be listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange in the following period, so that the investors will be able to invest in this fund in the secondary trading - said Milan Marinković, the CEO of company "FIMA Invest".
Appearance of closed funds can lead to larger efficiency of Serbian capital market because the closed funds are long-term investors in companies, so that they can exert influence on the administration of companies to improve corporate management. Such activist approach will be the main characteristic of "FIMA SEE Activist" fund.
Closed fund is intended mainly for the investors with experience and greater investment potential, as well as for all those who want to additionally diversify their portfolios.
