German "Reum GmbH" and Municipality of Svilajnac to sign contract on construction of 10m EUR worth of factory of car parts today

The contract on construction of factory of car parts "Reum GmbH" in Svilajnac will be signed today (August 6, 2008).

The contract on construction of that factory, in which German partner will invest 10m EUR and where 300 people will be working, will be signed by Mayor of Svilajnac, Gorica Dimčić - Tasić, and the CEO of company "Reum GmbH" rom German province of Baden Virtenberg, Rolf Riter.

Svilajnac will give 5 ha of land with complete infrastructure in Veliko Polje, on the road towards village of Kušiljevo, while German partner is obliged to finish the factory and starts production prior to March 1st, 2009.

The factory will be producing plastic parts for air-conditioning systems in automobiles, which will be exported into Germany and other countries of European Union. German partner also intends to establish cooperation with "Fiat", which should start production in "Zastava" in Kragujevac soon.

"Reum GmbH" is the manufacturer of plastic components and automated control systems for the interior of high-class automobiles. It has four factories in Germany and one in Czech Republic. This company produces car parts for "Mercedes", "BMW", "Porsche" and "Volkswagen".
