Market share of "Hypo leasing" group reached 34%

"Hypo leasing" group in Serbia announced that it had signed 28,393 contracts prior to June 2008 and that its market share had reached 34%.

That group, which encompasses companies Hypo leasing and Hypo rent, realized the largest market share in the segment of financing of procurement of vehicles - 51%.

According to the announcement, the balance sum of the company amounts to 654m EUR, while the amount of approved funds in the same period reached 749m EUR.

Company Hypo leasing offers financial leasing for vehicles, equipment, vessels and aircrafts, while company Hypo rent offers operative leasing for rental of vehicles, real estates and vessels, and it has 12,820 clients.

At the moment, Hypo leasing has 12 offices and 130 employees in Serbia and it plans to open new offices in Kruševac and Požarevac by the end of the year.

This group is present in Serbia since 2002 and its profit in 2007 amounted to 19m EUR, 2.3 times more than in 2006.
