Tender for "Jat" without "Aeroflot"?

Russian air transportation company will not, most probably, participate in the tender for "JAT" because the opinion of this company is that the terms are inadequate.

The Head of the press service of "Aeroflot", Irina Tanenberg, said that Russian airliner had learned the terms of the announced tender for privatization of "Jat Airways" on July 31, 2008, and that it had serious objections on the offered terms, that is, the price of Serbian company.

- My opinion is that the terms offered by the Government of Serbia are such that we will, most probably, pass the participation in the tender - said Tanenberg.

Privatization Agency has announced tender for sale of "Jat Airways" today. Minimum price for 51% of the company is 51m EUR. "Aeroflot" expressed intention to participate in privatization of the Serbian airliner on several occasions.
