Serbia to open 3 more chapters in 2017 – Company Law, Financial and Budgetary Provisions and External Relations next in line

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic stated on Thursday, August 3, 2017, that she expected that Serbia would open three chapters in the process of accession to the EU before the end of the year.

– I expect that we will open another three chapters, for which we are fully prepared – Company Law (Chapter 6), Financial and Budgetary Provisions (Chapter 33) and External Relations (Chapter 30). This is an important set of economic chapters – Joksimovic said for TV Pink.

Let us remind that Serbia has opened 10 chapters so far – Public Procurement (Chapter 5), Science and Research (Chapter 25), Intellectual Property Law (Chapter 7), Customs Union (Chapter 29), Enterprise and Industrial Policy (Chapter 20), Education and Culture (Chapter 26), Judiciary and Fundamental Rights (Chapter 23), Justice, Freedom and Security (Chapter 24), Financial Control (Chapter 32) and Other Issues (Chapter 35).
