(Jelena Veljic) Jelena Veljic was appointed new financial manager of Siemens d.o.o. Beograd on August 1, 2017.
As they say in Siemens, Jelena Veljic has over 10 years of experience in various jobs in the Siemens corporation on a global level – in China, Germany and Austria. Before being appointed to duty in Serbia, she was corporate audit manager for the Eastern Asia and the Pacific region, headquartered in Beijing. She started her career in Siemens Austria (Linz).
She completed her MA studies in the field of business administration and economy at the Johannes Kepler University in Austria, focusing on corporate finance, accounting and international business relations and was hired as teacher/researcher at the same university at the Department for Corporate Finance.
– I am glad to start a new phase in my professional career in Serbia, where Siemens is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year as an important partner of the country's economy and society for over a century. It is my pleasure that I will have an opportunity to transfer the knowledge and the experience I've acquired in my previous jobs and to contribute to the future success of Siemens Serbia – Veljic stated.

The Siemens wind turbine factory is one of the leading exporters from Serbia, and each third windmill in Europe is powered by a wind turbine made in Siemens' factory in Subotica.
