Ostružnica's railroad bridge taken out from the Sava, intensive works on complete reconstruction of bridge

Steel structure of the bridge torn down during the NATO bombing has been taken out from the Save river and rehabilitation of the access structures, as well as one of the damaged bridge piers, was completed at the end of July. The installation of the elements of the steel structure that is resting on this pier started at the beginning of August. The project implies construction of 400 m of railroad track on steel part of the bridge and 500 m of railroad tracks in front and behind the bridge, installation of contact network and rehabilitation of signal-safety devices. The contractor is Mostogradnja Belgrade.
