"Delta Maxi" bought Montenegro's "Ela" market - announced investments of 46 millions EUR

Representatives of "Delta Maxi" group and "Napredak" have signed today contract, based on which Serbian company is becoming the owner of 51% Kotor based company, which also included 13 "Ela" markets.
It is planned by the contract, that Delta Maxi invests 46 millions EUR in the development of Ela market during the next 5 years. Serbian company is planning to open 27 new objects of various retail capacities. General Director of Delta Maxi group, Dragan Filipovic announced that first few markets will be opened in Igalo, Budva, Ulcinj and Tivat.
- This year will probably be finished with 24 retail objects of Delta Maxi group in Montenegro - stated Filipovic.
He estimated that Montenegro's market is extremely developed and he remined that its gross domestic product (GDP) grew per 7% in the last year.
- We recognized the potential of that market, therefore we wish to contribute to that growth in the coming years, by employing of 800 - 1000 new workers, said Filipovic.
Executive Director of "Napredak", Dusko Blecic, considers that the contract with the famous Serbian company will provide long term development of Kotor based company, through security and better position of the employees, as well as better quality and variety of services for the clients, but also European standard in the the business.
