A mesmerizing video – National Geographic presents Belgrade

National Geographic has uploaded a time-lapse video of Belgrade to its website, showing the most renowned locations of the capital of Serbia. The magazine praises the city in the video description and reminds that it is one of the oldest European cities.


The photography and editing for the video, which lasts for slightly over three minutes, are the work of Dusan Stojancevic.

– Belgrade, Serbia's capital, sparkles in this dazzling time-lapse from filmmaker Dusan Stojancevic. The "white city", as it's known, is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers and is one of the oldest cities in Europe – the description says.

The video shows historical and popular tourist locations such as Skadarlija, Terazije, Avala, the Ada Bridge, Ada Ciganlija, the National Assembly building, the City Assembly building, the Church of Saint Sava, Kalemegdan, Kombank Arena, Hotel Moscow, the Kneza Mihaila Street...
