Belgrade Airport to aid the construction of Rosulje airport in Krusevac

The management of the Belgrade Airport, headed by the acting director, Sasa Vlaisavljevic, and Mayor of Krusevac Dragi Nestorovic agreed to cooperate on the project of the construction of the Rosulje airport.

The project has been estimated at RSD 250 million, and the plan includes the construction of a runway with an apron and taxiways, a parachuting area, training grounds with the accompanying infrastructure, a hangar and a traffic route with a parking lot.

The Nikola Tesla Airport intends to provide both financial and professional help in the realization of the project, the airport reported.

– I expect that the operating managers of the Belgrade Airport, who are accompanying me in my visit, will prepare a plan of cooperation in line with the priorities very soon. Following the tour of the location, we will have defined concrete operating tasks, which our professional teams are to solve efficiently in the upcoming period. We will be a good partner to the Rosulje airport – Vlaisavljevic said.

Talking about the plans for the construction, Mayor of Krusevac Dragi Nestorovic said that the realization of the first phase of the construction, financed from the town's own funds, was in progress at the moment, but that the works couldn't continue without the help of its partners, the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport among them.
