"Gazprom-neft" interested in purchase of Pancevo based "Petrohemija"

Representatives of "Gazprom-neft" company are negotiating about the purchase of "Petrohemija" in the package with "Petrol industry of Serbia". According to the words of Tanja Tatomirovic, PR manager of "Petrohemija", Pancevo company doesn't want to give out any information related to this business deal. Soon, there will be organized a press conference, when among other things, this issue would also be the subject.

"Gazprom-neft" hired a Russian company "Sibur", specialized for petrol-chemical plants, whose experts are estimating the potential of "Petrohemija". It's not a secret that the Serbian party is interested in this kind of package deal with "Gazprom-neft", which is a part of international agreement about cooperation in the energy sector between Serbia and Russia.

Along with this scenario also goes a plan by which NIS would become the owner of 51% of the property of "Petrohemija", through conversion of debts, by the end of September. As in this way, "Petrohemija" would become a part of the national petrol company, it could become property of "Gazprom-neft", immediately after signing of the sale contract.
