SERBIA IS ON THE THIRD PLACE BY ITS ATTRACTIVENESS FOR THE FOREIGN INVESTMENTS- EGYPT IS ON THE LEADING POSITION

According to the British Auditing Company Pricewaterhouse Coopers published in the research study "EM20 Index" for this year, that explores the attractiveness of various emerging markets as investment destinations both from risk and reward angle, Serbia was placed at the third position.

This index shows once again, that a part of the so called BRIK countries group (Brasil, Russia, India and China) that continue to offer interesting opportunities for investment, there are the other locations that can offer attractive alternatives for British companies that are interesting in investment in emerging markets in the world, it was said in the report of the "Pricewaterhouse Coopers".

Ian Coleman, the Head of the Emerging Markets in this auditing company said that "the political risk that is one of the most important factors and conditions for the rise and downturn of the countries at this list, specially when Serbia is in case, that has drastically improved its postion ... thanks to the political stability after 2000".

-In the year 2008, Serbia is at the third position and in 2004, it was 25th- he illustrated.

The first place for the investments in production took Egypt, the second position Bulgaria and the third one Serbia, in the list of the first ten position Romania is also, at the 7. place.

Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania are making a unique "gold triangle", because all three countries are in the group of the first ten also according to the attractiveness of investments in the services sector (Serbia is in this category at the 7. position, Romania at the 4 th , Bulgaria at the 5 th, and at the first position in this sector is Poland)
