New Rolling Stones album soon

Guitar player of the legendary British rock group the Rolling Stones Keith Richards said that they were working on a new album, after a photo surfaced showing the British rapper Skepta in a studio with the band.

The septuagenarian rockers have been playing live for the past ten years, but have not released a new studio album of original songs. In December 2016, they released an album of blues covers called Blue and Lonesome. Their last album of original songs was A Bigger Bang, released in 2005.

Asked by fans on YouTube about the possibility of releasing a new album Keith Richards answered “Yes, yes, we are — very, very shortly”.

Shane Gonzales, founder of London's Midnight Studios, revealed a photo of Skepta with Mick Jagger earlier this month on Instagram, starting speculations about their collaboration.

The Rolling Stones plan to play live at European stadiums in September and October.
