FRENCH "LAFARGE" TOOK OVER THE REST OF 14,97% OF SHARES OF THE BEOCIN CEMENT FACTORY

French company "Lafarge" announced today (July 22, 2008) that they took the rest of 14,97 % of shares of the Beocin Cement Factory "Lafarge BFC"

As it was published into the report about the taking over the shares, the company "Lafarge", situated in Paris, bought 75.589 shares of the Cement Factory from Beocin for 15.600 dinars per share.

After the approval of their offer "Lafarge" has now in its posession 501/129 shares, 99,30 % of the ownership of the Cement Factory, respectively.

The French company "Lafarge" has bought 70 % of the capital of the Cement Factory from Beocin at the tender published 2002 for 50,89 mil of $ USD and later on by buying the shares at the Belgrade Stock Exchange they enlarged their share on 84,32 % and 425.540 shares respectively.

According to the data of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the market value of the cement factory "Lafarge BFC" is 9,7 billion of dinars, and 155 mil $ USD respectively upon the present exchange rate. The profit per share in 2007 was 4.316 dinars, and the capital refund was 37,18%.

The Cement Factory ended last year with the 2,18 billion dinars of the profit, that is 28% increase comparing with the year 2006.
