Factory of industrial equipment Kostolac, in cooperation with the Italians, plans the construction of a sports center and modern harbor

If the agreement is reached with the local self-government and the Republic authorities, the Factory of industrial equipment from Kostolac would equip this town with a sports center and a big modern harbor. This factory for the production of electro-equipment and operating facilities, which used to be called MINEL, was privatized on January 28th, 2005 and is now a stock company, with the majority Italian capital.

The construction of a big harbor in Kostolac is planned until 2010. The sports center has already been partly built, and with the construction of the harbor they would succeed in their intention to make a modern industrial-business-sports center out of Kostolac.

In its development plan, AD FIO anticipated numerous ambitious projects. If the agreement is reached with the authorities, they would soon start buying the houses built on the bank of the Danube, so as to start the construction of the harbor in that place. Three pitches have already been built within the sports center, and in the forthcoming period it is planned to cover them and build the accompanying objects.
