"TELEKOM SERBIA" MARKED THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF "M:TEL" IN MONTENEGRO- 50 MIL EUROS OF PLANNED INVESTMENTS

By the concert of the Croat music group "Magazin", in front of the walls of the Ancient City in Budva, last night ( July 20, 2008) has been marked the first anniversary of the exsiting and operating of the telecommunication company "m:tel" in Montenegro, that has been founded a year before by "Telekom Serbia"

"Telekom Serbia" has got the license for the third operator for the territory of Montenegro in April 2007, so it has been present in this country within the Serbian- Dutch consortium "Telecom Serbia AD" and "Ogalar B.V" that operates at the territory of Montenegro as the Telecommunication Society "m:tel".

The PR Manager of the company "m:tel", Ms. Ana Martinovic said that 300.000 users of this network in Montenegro in this first year of operation, really have truly friends in this company, as the motto of the company is " We are the company that you could count on as on a reliable friend, and that is the way how it will be in the future", she emphasized.

The PR Manager of the company "m:tel" illustrated that they captured one quarter of the market of Montenegro, expressing the hope that they will have bigger number of the new users.

-Just because of that we are planning to open the new branch offices in Montenegro, and very soon, we are going to organize new promotional actions, said Ms. Martinovic.

After receiving the license for the operation of the network of mobile phone in Montenegro, "Telekom Serbia" has built in 77 days only, the new, state of the art mobile network, with the equipment of the most famous world producers, in which it was invested from the very beginning of the commercial operation, more than 50 mil euros.

It is planned that the same amount of money would be invested in the following phase of the development of the company operation, as it was mentioned at the web page of this mobile operator on Internet
