INSURANCE COMPANY "GRAWE" IN SERBIA IS PLANNING TO INCREASE THE BONUS IN THE FIELD OF THE LIFE INSURANCE UNTIL THE END OF 2008, UP TO 21 MIL EUR

Insurance Company "Grawe" in Serbia is planning to increase the bonus in the field of the life insurance until the end of 2008, up to 21 mil eur.

According to the statement of the President of the Managing Board Grawe in Serbia, Mr Kristof Cetl, the total amount of the bonus are now 16,2 mil eur and it represents 26% of the shares at the domestic market of the life insurance.

"Grawe" has 37.000 clients in Serbia, that is 1% only of the total number of the clients of the whole Austrian concern oif "Grawe", but there are very big possibilities for the further development of this insurance sector at the Serbian market.

As he added, the average amount of the bonus in "Grawe" insurance in Serbia is 500 eur.

Cetl also said that the insurance company "Grawe" announces one year in advance the annual earnings that the clients of life insurance could expect and for the last 11 years it was 6%. The money from the bonus is invested in Serbia, 90 % of the amount into the bonds, said the President of the Managing Board "Grawe" in Serbia.

According to his words, in Serbia 2,5 % of the citizens have the life insurance, and the average bonus per total number of citizens is 8 eur, comparing with Croatia where it is 60 eur and Austria where it is 200 eur.
