Tender for Horgoš-Novi Sad highway soon?

The contract on construction of Horgoš-Požega highway will be cancelled - says Mlađan Dinkić.

Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, also added that the tender for construction of Horgoša - Novi Sad highway would be announced.

He said that the National Council for Infrastructure had made unanimous decision not to accept additional requests of the concessionaire for construction of Horgoš-Požega highway and that it was definitely decided that that contract should be cancelled.

Dinkić, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, said that the representatives of that consortium had been informed on the Council's decision and that he expected that the relations would soon be cleared.

He said that the finance plan for construction of highway in Vojvodina had been made and that he expected that Serbia would obtain the loan from the World Bank that would cover part of expenses.
