CADEZ: Quicker growth through creation of unified Western Balkans market

(Marko Cadez) The foundation of the Chamber Investment Forum in Trieste and the connecting of the six economies of the Western Balkans is important for a quicker economic growth of those countries, says president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez.

– We are preparing a platform for investing in the region, where investor will be able to get all information about how to invest, what the regulations are, what kind of aid and what subsidies are available in which country, in one place. We will launch this in London at the Western Balkans conference in February – Cadez said for TV Pink.

He says that the regional chamber of commerce represents the interests of more than a half a million business entities and that the private sector will follow the realization of the action plan, how far it has progressed and what has been done.

As he says, a secretary general of the Chamber Investment Forum, which will serve to connect companies, providing all information in one place, will be appointed in September.

Cadez said that the politicians of the Western Balkans have realized how important the economic part of the cooperation is and that all these countries are in fact small markets.

– If a bigger growth is desired and if we want to come closer to the central European economies at an increased pace, we need to turn this market into a single area and export to the third market together – he concluded.
