Android O to arrive by late September 2017

Google is completing the development of Android 8.0 mobile OS, also known as Android O. Although the exact launch date is not yet known, it was recently reported that the launch would take place before the end of the third quarter of 2017.

Android O will first be available for Pixel and Pixel XL devices, as well as for all Nexus devices, nextpowerup.com reports.

It's not known what the name of the new operating system will be, but certain rumors currently circling the web point to either Oreo or Oatmeal Cookie suffix.

When it comes to new features, there are Picture-in-Picture mode, Notification Dots, improved text selection, autofill, app badges and many others.
