"Matijević" announced offer for takeover of 49.18% of stocks of company "Agrovojvodina mehanizacija"

Meat-packing industry "Matijević" announced the offer yesterday (July 10, 2008) for takeover of remaining 49.18% of stocks of company "Agrovojvodina mehanizacija" for 79.4m RSD (about 1m EUR).
The Novi Sad Meat-packing industry is willing to purchase another 8.344 stocks of company "Agrovojvodina mehanizacija", which deals with trade in agricultural machines, at the price of 9,250 RSD per stock.
Current price of stocks of "Agrovojvodina mehanizacija" on the Belgrade Stock Exchange is 2,700 RSD and it has not been changed since the end of year 2006. The offer will be opened prior to July 31st.
The profit of "Agrovojvodina mehanizacija" in 2007 amounted to 35.7m RSD, while the business incomes of the company amounted to about 370m RSD.
According to the data provided by the Central Securities Registry, Meat-packing industry "Matijević" and its owner Petar Matijević own 50.8% of stocks of the Novi Sad-based company. The Share Fund owns 30.48% of stocks of the company, "Akcijainvest" possesses 9.2%, Pension and Disability Insurance Fund has 6.5%, while minor stockholders own 3.02% of stocks.
