"Zdenka" cheese got new owner - Croatian company sold to companies "Cautio" and "Granolio"

Daughter company of stock company "Zdenka" - "Zdenka mlečni proizvodi", has been officially sold to Croatian companies "Cautio" and "Granolio".

Following the decision of the Government to privatize the last and the most valuable enterprise within company "Zdenka", the Administrative Board of Croatian Privatization Fund (HFP) decided to sell it to "Granolio" from Zagreb and "Cautio" from Našice for 70m HRK (9.66m EUR).

The new owners have promised to keep "Zdenka's" brand, primary field of work, provide new investments, keep current workers, and hire another 50 people within next five years. They plan to invest about 140m HRK (19.33m EUR) in "Zdenka" in that period.

Zagreb-based "Granolio" had already bought two of "Zdenka's" enterprises - "Zdenka farma" and "Prerada žitarica", for total of 6m HRK.
