President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met with the management and the owner of the German company Vorwerk Autotec in Belgrade on July 4. The company is considering the option of making greenfield investments in Serbia, where it plans to produce parts for the German car industry.

As the press release says, this is a family company, founded in 1827 in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Vucic invited Vorwerk and other German companies to invest in Serbia.

– Serbia is the best country in Southeast Europe for export-oriented companies – Vucic pointed out and added that the towns most interesting to German investors, Loznica and Kraljevo, would offer good production conditions.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of Germany Axel Dittmann, who pointed out that the experiences of German companies operating in Serbia were positive.

He added that German businessmen were very interested in investing in Serbia, thanks to a stable business environment and efficient economic reforms.
