Oliver Dulic, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning in Government of Republic of Serbia since 2008

Born in Belgrade, 1975.

He graduated from the Medical School in Belgrade, where he specialised in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology.

He enrolled at a master’s degree course in European integration and management at the Faculty of Economics, Finances and Administration of the Singidunum University in 2006.

He worked as a doctor in the Subotica emergency centre and as an orthopaedist at the Subotica health centre.

One of the leaders of the 1996/97 student protests, founder of the Balkan Forum, organisation of Balkan students in Athens.

He was president of the municipal committee of the Democratic Party in Subotica and vice president of the party’s Vojvodina committee. Member of the presidency of the Democratic Party for the Novi Sad region and member of the party’s foreign policy council. He was MP in the parliament of Serbia-Montenegro.

Elected Serbian MP in the January 21, 2007 elections. In a session held on May 23, 2007, he was elected speaker of Serbian parliament.

Speaks English and has a working knowledge of German and Hungarian.

Married.
