Family wine cellar "Selecta" in Gudurica near Vršac
is the first individual manufacturer of white wines in Serbia that will export the
products into Russia.
The white wines from wine cellar "Selecta" will soon reach
the elite hotels in Sankt Petersburg, with which the four-year contract on supply
of wine has been signed.
- We promised to deliver 100,000 bottles of 'White Burgundy', 'Rhein Riesling' and 'Court Wine’ within the next three years. The first shipment that is already on its way to Russia includes 15,000 bottles - said Milutin Tine Stojšić.
The Stojšić family started to grow vine in 1987 and
to make wine in 1993 when they used to produce about 5,000 liters of wine on
annual basis.
- We are now producing about 75,000 liters of wine a year. We have fulfilled all of our ambitions. We own 12 ha of young vineyards and 5 ha under grey and white burgundy, chardonney and chauvignon, as well as 4 ha under several sorts of black grapes. We also have four cellars and the capacity of the smallest of them is 100,000 liters - said Stojšić.
Wine cellar "Selecta" has also been dealing with the organization of wine tasting with traditional domestic Banat's dishes and local tamburitza orchestras over the past four years.
