Serbian taekwondo athlete Milica Mandic has become the world taekwondo champion, beating the previous champion and the Rio Olympics gold medalist Oh Hye-ri at 2017 World Taekwondo Championships South Korea final.

Mandic, the London Olympics gold medalist, brought Serbia its second gold medal in Muju, following Vanja Stankovic (in the +49 kg category), winning its second world metal after the bronze medal won six years ago, also in South Korea.
